Psychotrauma of War

The Telegram channel “Psychotrauma of War” is my main communication platform. It is dedicated to mental health during and after the war

The channel’s splash screen shows a field of poppies. That is my metaphor for war: scorched earth, sprinkled with red blood. From which life grows. Over which the sun rises.

The channel contains analysis of the psychological aspects of war, educational materials on trauma and its consequences, clinical notes, information on transgenerational trauma, practical self-regulation techniques, reflective and supportive posts, and announcements of lectures and training programs.

Regular sections:

“The soldier says”

Quotes from clients who are currently fighting, wounded and undergoing treatment, or have already been demobilized. It is usually difficult for them to talk about their psychological trauma, but they try.

“Insights from interviews”

Brief conclusions, impressions, and observations on complex client cases that we discuss weekly with colleagues during intervision sessions.

“The soldier draws”

Creative works by wounded soldiers, which they create in the psychiatric ward of a hospital in Kyiv. I publish masterpieces, comment on them, and provide psychoanalytic analysis of individual works.

Thank you to everyone who reads and recommends the channel “Psychotrauma of War”

The channel was created for people experiencing the effects of war; mental health professionals; and those interested in psychotraumatology.

This is not just a war diary, but also posts about life between sirens. So that on the hardest days, readers have structure, words for the unspeakable, and just the right amount of irony — enough to endure this reality and remain human.
