Intervision group

Collaborative work among fellow practitioners to analyze complex client cases. Mutual support in the face of professional burnout during wartime

I invite you to join an intervision group

Imagine a canvas where every brushstroke represents experience, emotion, and insight. Together, they create a unique picture of professional development, where each participant adds their own color and texture.

Our intervision group is designed for psychologists and psychotherapists who are practicing during the war and need professional support.

Participation fee: 750 UAH per class

Registration

No matter how much experience you have, you need to share it. To free up your hands and take on new things.

Bring your vision, experience, and perspective—and take from others. Give and receive feedback on cases that you don’t have the energy to deal with. Share what you’ve heard, seen, and reflected on. Sometimes turn the format into a therapeutic and supportive one, because in war, psychological burnout catches up with everyone, especially those in the helping professions.

I invite you to join the intervision group:
Mondays, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Kyiv), Zoom.

How does an intervision group work?

1

Contents

Group participants who wish to present cases (intervisants) should announce this at the beginning of the session. The facilitator determines the order in which the cases will be reviewed. It is never known in advance how many client cases there will be or what they will be about.

2

Host

I host the intervision group—Tetiana Stanislavska. From time to time, any member of the group can become an intervision moderator (if they wish), with my support. It is not easy, but it is a very useful professional experience.

3

Presentation of the case

The intervisor outlines the essence of the case. Other participants listen attentively. The intervisor also formulates a request: what exactly he expects from his colleagues: practical recommendations, alternative points of view, or simply support.

4

Clarifying questions

After presenting the case, participants ask clarifying questions about the case and the feelings of the intervisee in countertransference with the client, emphasizing the positive aspects of the case and the work already done.

5

Discussion

Next, the group members voice their subjective hypotheses and versions of what they have heard. The main rule is to do this using “I-statements”: “I think that…”, “I have this idea…”, “My personal opinion is that…”.

6

Feedback

The case review concludes with feedback from the interviewee whose case was discussed: how the analysis was useful to them and what they will take away for future work with clients. After that, we move on to the next case.

After payment, you will receive a link to Zoom.

The payment link is permanent, meaning you can use it every time before attending the interview.

PARTICIPATION

You can present your case or be a listener. You can passively observe your colleagues’ work or take notes of insights and interesting ideas for yourself. In any case, rest assured that during the intervision group session, your neural connections will change as you gain new experiences.

It will definitely be useful.

FREEDOM

The group has an open format — the composition of participants changes from session to session.
Yes, we already have a core group of regular participants, but don’t worry: you will be welcomed into the circle of colleagues as if you have been with us for a long time.

You can bring complex cases from time to time or come every week to listen and learn with us. It’s your practice, your rhythm, your professional identity.

Make your own decisions — the way that works best for you.
Move at your own pace.

TRIGGERS

I strive to create the most comfortable space possible for each participant. If you have any special requests or sensitive topics, please let me know when you register.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are working in wartime conditions, so force majeure circumstances are possible. In the event of a power outage or loss of communication, the meeting may be postponed or held by another moderator.

If you have paid for participation but are unable to attend, don’t worry, your payment will be transferred to the next event.
